Jennifer Wesp, the nice listowner, has requested that I post some relevant info on the claims of weight loss being caused by use of Chromium Picolinate. In short the claims are bogus, but don't just take my word for it here are the names of some studies with the conclusions of the researchers.

"Analogues of picolinic acid have been shown to induce profound alterations in the metabolism of serotonin, dopamine, and norepnephrine in brain. Thus, caution should be used with chromium picolinate supplements especially by individuals prone to behavioral disorders."
